A proof goes out before any engraving begins. Review names, ranks, badge numbers, dates and spelling carefully. Approval is requested within 24 hours; after 48 hours with no reply we may proceed on the most recent proof to keep the order on schedule.
Three to five business days after proof approval, plus shipping. Contact the shop before ordering if you have a retirement, graduation, award presentation or memorial service on a fixed date.
Department badges, seals, logos and patches are accepted. Send artwork after ordering. Very fine detail may need simplifying to engrave clearly at the size available.
Laser engraving removes the surface finish to expose the metal or wood beneath. It will not peel, fade or wash off the way vinyl, paint or print does. It also cannot be undone.
Personalized items are not returnable or exchangeable except where the item arrives damaged or the engraving is wrong on our end. Contact the shop immediately if there is a problem.
Acacia, walnut, bamboo and rubberwood vary in grain, knots and color from piece to piece. That variation is the material, not a defect.
Swatches under each product show the finishes it comes in. Click one to see it. Lids, straws and handles are color-matched to the tumbler as standard; mixing a contrast handle or lid is free, just note it on the request. Screen colors are close but not exact — ask for a sample before committing a large department order to one color.
All catalog prices are shown before tax. Arizona transaction privilege tax is added at the rate for the delivery address. Tax-exempt agencies and churches should send an exemption certificate with the purchase order and tax will be removed from the invoice.
